A book has been showing up in discussions on TikTok and other online social media sites. It is not a new book. It dates back to the 19th century. However, some people believe it foretold the future, it's writer another Nostradamus. The author was Ingersoll Lockwood, the book Baron Trump's Marvellous Underground Journey. It was published in 1893. Lockwood also wrote The Last President, published in 1896.
Now this 19th century book is not about the U. S. President or his son Barron... or is it? Eerie coincidences have led some to believe that Lockwood could see the future. The fictional Baron Trump is a rich young man guided by someone named “Don.” He lives in a place named for him, Castle Trump. It's location is in New York City, close to today's Trump Tower. Trump likes to brag about being smart. In the story he goes off on an adventure that starts from... Russia!
So far, it looks like Lockwood had a vision into the future. In the second book, an outsider from New York unexpectedly becomes President. His election leads to many protests. So far, so good. But the next one has not taken place... yet. Is this the future? In The Last President, his presidency leads to the downfall of America. Prophetic? We still have four more years to see if that last event comes to pass.
In the first book, Trump is a time traveler, going back in time. But, could it be that the real Trump is a time traveler visiting the future, like 2025? Seems like a stretch, but one of the posters pointed out, “It's more believable than what is actually happening.” Here is a link if you would like to read the book.
I have not read it myself. It's a long book and I have too much else to do.
